Working in watercolor, miniatures, and dioramas, Diane draws inspiration from her life in Florida.  The swathes of bright colors in her abstract paintings do not touch, creating hard-edged negative spaces that become an integral part of each artwork.  The sun, moon and stars are often depicted in her works, as are quotes that help her get through the day.  She builds whimsical pieces in her signature style, expressing the joys and sorrows found in living.
